Our history begins with the incorporation of Rumage & Brown in 1948 by Ben Rumage & Jim Brown.
Rumage & Brown has a proven track record of success, always surpassing the goals of manufacturers looking for reps and customers’ expectations.
The company began as a Chicago based hardware manufacture’s representative organization and has continued to evolve with the industry and expand its’ footprint nationally. We have established a reputation of employing only top-level industry professionals. These professionals hail from key management roles at well-known companies such as; Ace Hardware, True Value Hardware, Orgill, Quill, Masco, and Quickie Manufacturing.
In 2005, recognizing the ever-evolving needs of the hardware industry, Saleslink was created. The Saleslink infrastructure was developed to provide regional key account management and field sales support from independent sales reps, leveraging the manufacturer and customer corporate initiatives. Saleslink has grown rapidly to an organization of over 40 people, representing some of the finest brands in retail.
In 2013 we incorporated both Rumage & Brown and Saleslink under the Saleslink brand – leveraging the best of both companies to create an all-encompassing sales and service solution.
