How to Sell a Whirlpool Washer
When helping customers shop for a new Whirlpool® washer, your goal is to guide them toward the model that best fits their lifestyle and space. Start by learning more about their current washer and habits—ask questions like: What style is your current washer and when did you purchase it? How many people are in your household? How often do you do laundry? These insights will help determine which Whirlpool® washer type and capacity make the most sense.
Next, focus on the laundry space itself. Ask for the dimensions of their current washer (height, width, and depth), and confirm the measurements of any doorways, hallways, or stairways the unit will need to pass through during delivery and installation. Make sure there’s room to follow the installation instructions for their chosen Whirlpool® model, including about 4 feet in front of the unit for door swing and access, 6 inches behind for water hookups and drainage, and at least 20 inches of clearance above if they’re choosing a top-load model. Helping your customer find the right Whirlpool® washer means matching performance and features to their unique household needs and ensuring it fits comfortably in their space.
