This automated web scraping process is designed to extract key product information from HomeDepot.com based on tags captured during store visits. When a rep uploads product tag photos, the system identifies and links them to their corresponding Home Depot product page using extracted identifiers. It then pulls official product data directly from the site and stores it in our backend for analysis.
The following fields are captured in the scrape:

Home Depot Official Product Name: Official product name as listed online.

This process collects product details directly from Lowe’s based on the product tag submissions. Each tag is processed and matched with a valid Lowe’s product URL. The scraper then extracts the following fields from the official product page:

Lowes Product Name: The official product title as listed on Lowe’s.

Lowes Product Item Number: The unique Lowe’s item number (used internally by Lowe’s).

When a Menards product tag is submitted through the interface, a web scraping job is triggered to extract official product details from the Menards website. The following fields are captured:
